Fr1257A

A Sparrow took a
slice of Twig
And thought it very nice
I think, because his
empty Plate
Was handed Nature twice –

Invigorated fully – sprang
lightly to the sky
As an accustomed
stirrup –
And boldly rode away – And rode Immensity

____  ____     ___    ___

And rode deriding by –

   ___      ___      ___
Absconded daintily – fluently
The Epicure of Courtesy Purposes
As of Amenity – Propriety

   ___       ___       ___

The Epicure of Firmaments
As of Frugality –

Rose softly in the sky
As a familiar Stirrup
To mount Immensity –

And gaily galloped by –

The Epicure of Vehicles
As of Velocity.

___ ___ ___ ___ ___

As speculations flee
By no Conclusion Derision
hindered
<Left
> –  Rose surreptitiously

Turned easy in the sky
As a familiar saddle –

And rode immensity
